A light box, a sound box, a treasure box and an outdoor space create a stage for users of Moonah Arts Centre (MAC) to exhibit, perform, make and relate. This is a transformational setting for community arts and community participation. The principal spaces are flexible and interlinked forming large areas or separating into intimate or specialised zones. One of these is the treasure box or making space where learning programs are held for the community. A courtyard links the foyer and making space or they can operate as discreet and separate areas. A large commissioned sliding artwork panel separates and encloses this court or opens to the public forecourt, under festoon lights, to form an expansive event space.
